Poetry (Weekend Post)

Poetry is a way of life in most people's lives. Poetry is used to bring home key points like love, hatred, happiness, slavery, and even the smallest of inanimate objects. I personally believe that poetry is special and is a God given gift. For example, for those people who may not know how to get their point across through verbal words, they can use poetry to express their feelings, which in some cases are ten times better. Poetry is worth keeping on this earth simply because of the morals that come behind it. That's why poetry is a great piece of God-given literature.

This is an example of one of my poetry pieces:

I have a great passion for the drums
The way you hit them, with the echoes and the hums
The hit-hat and cymbals shiny and sizzling sound
And the perfect shape of the snare which is round
On goes the perfectly crafted wooden sticks
Just like the shiny floor of the New York Knicks
When you put these parts together you have a drum set
And with great style, it would be something you want to get
